Legend the Rapper know to most as “Legend” was born in the south suburban area of Chicago, Illinois.
Growing up, Legend was always conscious of his musical talent, but it was the unexpected loss of his maternal grandfather which led to Legend passionately indulging into his craft. As Legend matured so did his sound and his aptitude to write. It soon became extremely undeniable that his talent was truly a gift and had to be pursued.
Legend began recording songs and networking with other local aspiring artist and producers which lead to the release of his debut album “Building A Name” As his album spread throughout the city, it caught the attention of Shenanigans productions who immediately partnered with him and had Legend performing as their featured artist at many of their events.
Legend continuously illustrates his capability to succeed in the rap industry. His innovative style, and meticulous wordplay while “clean,” yet profound, makes Legend a force to be reckoned with.
